That’s the thing that was the big takeaway that I i had on uh looking at seattle’s depth chart as well is just that you know we just talked about that the incumbents kind of were expected to be listed aheadand so you would have expected perhaps maybe hugo amadi to be listed there marquise blair you can make the same argument for why the escridge is basically at the back end of the roster because obviously the struggles with durability the most important ability of any football player not straight line speed or you know or leaping ability or hands but durability and uh and blair has certainly not shown that. The more you do it at this level first or second year the more confident you get and again i’ll go back to that rashad bateman play he did itbut he did against marlon humphrey who’s one of two or three best cornerbacks in the league you talk about boosting someone’s confidence early in training camp early in his professional career marquee play right there yup for sure I think another interesting thing about the fans returning this year and we talked to uh you know before lamar jackson was put on the reserve covered list we had him on the lounge podcast and he brought this up that it was tough it was tough for players around the league not to have fans right you just feed off that energy I think it might have been particularly tough for this team and for lamar and for some of these young players I mean I have visions of the monday night football game in los angeles right. I don’t understand why he left itmayfield on the roll and he’ll run for the first down answer the call mayfield on that boot keep action and he’s got a man in not just the best tandem of backs i’ve gone against these are the two best backs that we’ve gone against this year on the run mayfield delivers on target for a first down performance in the passing game baker goes play action we’ll throw on the run and this is caught that’s jarvis landry landry with a lot of real estate celebrated his 28th birthday yesterday and a good play early in this game a little straight pass to the check down it’s nick chubb weaving three tacklers there isn’t an offense in the nfl that has this kind of a onetwo punch of running back certainly knowing better mayfield again thrown across his body completes near side of the field almost 12 yards per carry in the fourth quarter mayfield the fake throwing to the end zone it is caught for the touchdown jarvis landry where baker has to be at his best mayfield again feels the pocket collapse throws wobbly pass it’s complete the run consistently and you have to throw the football you saw jedrick wells their rookie left tackle losing a sneaker a cleat has to come off the field kendall and that is another completion jarvis landry with a marvelous catch nothing new for him to rip off big plays play action here the fake to hunt hard paces they’ve got all three timeouts left mayfield over the middle complete first down first and goal from just inside the 10.
