Thefirst time that I have like really justfelt like oh my god I need to get afour wheel drive vehicle uh huhso I actually started like pricing outyou know some like rock fours and youknow some other like fairly reasonablypriced four by fours huh and at the endof the day like I’m looking at you knowspending tens not tens of thousands ofdollars but 10 000 bucks let’s say youknow I might be able to put 5 000 downon it and then have like a 5 000 loanhuh but I don’t want to like you knowminimalism helps me it helps me stop andthink like do I want to have that evenif it’s just a hundred dollar paymonth like do I want to be beholden tothat 100 dollar payment a month for thenext 5 years right so you know insteadof like going out and getting abrand new 4×4 where I went out and Ispent 500 bucks on some snow tires andthey don’t they’re not perfect like asyou saw me getting out of the parkinglot the other day but that was likethat’s the only trouble I’ve had withthem sure so it’s like you know it’sthese little one offs where. Of peopleand I’ll tell you it sounds reallyimpressive to tell you this and I’mproud to say that minimalism is thenumber one indie documentary of 2016 interms of theatrical releases it stillsounds weird to me man it sounds reallyweird but I’ll tell you there was a hugefailure and when I say that to peoplethey’re like what do you mean it was afailure it’s the number 1 indiedocumentary and the reason I say that isit it didn’t reach as many people thesummer in theatres because it’s muchharder to get people to come out totheatres and see the film than it is toput it up onlineand what I learned from that is I wouldprobably not do a wide theatricalrelease like that again it’s not thisway people are viewing movies anymoreyeah because it’s not as simple as likegreat we have a documentary now it’s outin theatres I mean there’s a lot ofbackdoor work or you know behind thescene processes so forth and so on thatyeah it’s just it went about 50 percentsmooth and fifty percent insane and themost value people are getting out of itis.
